What will your job look like?

The Concierge serves as a frontline ambassador for the Sabino Canyon Crawler and Bear Canyon shuttle services, ensuring a seamless and informative experience for all visitors. This role combines customer service, operational support, and regulatory compliance to enhance the recreational experience while maintaining alignment with Forest Service guidelines.

Location: 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road Tucson, AZ 85750

Rate of Pay: $16.00

What you’ll do:

  • Customer Engagement & Ticketing
  • Guide customers through the ticket purchasing process for both shuttle services
  • Provide detailed information about trails, amenities, and recreational opportunities
  • Operational Oversight
  • Monitor and adhere to the daily operations schedule
  • Track shuttle routes in real-time and maintain communication with drivers until their return
  • Assist drivers during onboarding and reinforce shuttle service policies to passengers
  • Reservation & Manifest Management
  • Oversee the customer manifest and resolve any reservation discrepancies
  • Regulatory Compliance & Visitor Education
  • Uphold Forest Service rules and regulations
  • Educate visitors on drone usage, biking hours, and parking fees

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a tourism, hospitality, or transportation setting
  • Experience working in outdoor recreation or with public-facing operations is highly desirable
  • Prior experience communicating rules and regulations to the public, preferred
  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, or transportation operations, preferred
  • Schedule flexibility: Looking for individuals who are available 7 days a week between the hours of 9: 00am - 6: 00pm (estimated to be around 24 hours per week) Shifts will be assigned after training is completed

Skills:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with trail systems and recreational amenities is a plus
  • Comfortable using technology for route tracking and communication
  • Familiarity with scheduling, ticketing systems, or route tracking software is a plus
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
  • Maintain positive & professional attitude
