Human Resources Specialist - Benefits M Culinary Concepts is seeking a passionate and experienced Human Resources Specialist with experience in Total Rewards to join our dynamic team. About the Role We're looking for an experienced HR Specialist - Benefits & Total Rewards who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and ensuring our team members understand and maximize the benefits available to them. What You'll Do As our HR Specialist - Benefits, you'll play an important role in supporting our employees throughout their employment journey by: Administering health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and other employee benefit programs Coordinating annual Open Enrollment and educating employees on benefit options Serving as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution Supporting administration of our 401(k), ESOP, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA compliance programs Ensuring benefit deductions, reporting, and filings are accurate and audit-ready Managing employee wellness initiatives and company wellness programs Coordinating safety training and helping foster a culture of workplace safety Managing Workers' Compensation claims from injury through return-to-work Partnering with leaders to identify trends and improve safety and employee wellness Performing HRIS (UKG) audits to ensure employee and benefit data remains accurate Assisting with HR compliance, audits, and continuous process improvements Supporting HR projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience We're Looking For Someone Who Is Passionate about helping people Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture Organized and able to manage multiple priorities A proactive problem solver who enjoys improving processes Comfortable communicating with employees at every level of the organization Positive, approachable, and committed to excellent customer service Adaptable in a fast-paced environment A true team player who enjoys collaborating across departments M Culinary Concept: Where Food is Fun! What we need from you: Minimum of 3 years of HR benefits experience required; experience in hospitality or foodservice strongly preferred. Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements. Experience with UKG Ready or similar HRIS preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on employee engagement and customer service. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Comfortable presenting and facilitating group training sessions. Ability to function effectively in a high-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
