Job Summary

As a Special Credits Analyst in Managed Assets, you will support a portfolio of pre charge off loans/lines with aggregate business credit exposure for the purpose of limiting the Bank's potential risk exposure, resolving default, responding to customer requests, protecting the Bank's collateral position and mitigating loss. You will exhaust all potential solutions to resolve delinquency and prevent charge off. Your solutions could include but are not limited to negotiating payment arrangements or settlements, modifications, and or liquidating assets.

Job responsibilities
  • Negotiate satisfactory repayment schedules, negotiates settlements and liquidates remaining collateral
  • Manage all aspects of the bankruptcy process which may include working with counsel to file a proof of claim
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls from and to borrowers and counsel

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Work in a call center environment that requires 100% phone-based interaction
  • 3+ years' experience in a collection environment
  • Strong knowledge of bankruptcy, litigation and collateral liquidation process
  • Possess commercial loan recovery, workout or loss mitigation experience
  • High School or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with commercial loan collections or loss mitigation experience
  • Working knowledge of state specific statutes regarding collections and bankruptcy
  • Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, security agreements, and guaranties
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
