Be part of JPMorgan's Commercial Bank, Wholesale Lending Services group! Join our Insurance Center of Excellence and be the compliance expert we're looking for.

As a vital part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we meet Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA) regulations and corporate policy for flood, hazard, and liability insurance coverages. We're seeking candidates with a strong background in commercial property & casualty insurance, especially those skilled in reviewing insurance documents to ensure compliance.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews of insurance coverage for assets and collateral, ensuring alignment with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings (with representatives, as appropriate, from line of business, Corporate Flood Program, Insurance Center of Excellence, Legal, Compliance, Client, Insurance Agent/Broker, Agent and Participant banks).
  • Apply proficient conflict management skills to facilitate discussions and negotiations, resolving any arising conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements, leveraging time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage tasks and activities.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Two or more years of experience or equivalent expertise in insurance servicing, specifically in reviewing assets and collateral for appropriate coverage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conflict management, with a track record of facilitating discussions and creating win-win solutions.
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking skills to prioritize, organize, compare, and critically evaluate various aspects of insurance servicing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Advanced proficiency in time management and organization, with a demonstrated ability to efficiently manage and monitor multiple tasks and activities.

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Basic leverage AI/ML to enhance insurance processes.
  • Innovative mindset, motivated to continuously improve processes.
  • Participate in team discussions to learn about best practices in process optimization.
