Job Duties and Responsibilities Performs comprehensive patient assessments, gathering detailed medical histories and conducting thorough physical examinations.Formulates accurate diagnosises based on clinical findings, diagnostic test results, and evidence-based practice.Develops and implements individualized treatment plannings, incorporating pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.Prescribes and manages pharmacology regimens, ensuring safe and effective medication use and monitoring patient responses.Utilizes Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems proficiently for all medical documentation, order entry, and communication.Provides comprehensive patient education to individuals and families, promoting health literacy and shared decision-making.Maintains precise and timely medical documentation that accurately reflects patient encounters, assessments, and plans.Engages in effective care coordination, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and transitions of care.Exercises strong clinical decision making skills, applying critical thinking to complex patient scenarios and adapting care plans as needed.Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient management. Required Qualifications Education Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP) in a relevant specialty. Experience Two (2) or more years of clinical experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.Experience in an acute care or specialized outpatient setting is highly desirable. Knowledge/Skills Demonstrates expertise in Patient Assessment, Diagnosis, Treatment Planning, and Pharmacology.Proficiently uses Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.Possesses strong skills in Patient Education and communication.Expertly performs Physical Examinations and interprets findings.Maintains meticulous Medical Documentation practices.Excels in Care Coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration.Applies advanced Clinical Decision Making skills to complex patient cases.Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care. Preferred Qualifications Specialty certification relevant to the practice area (e.g., FNP, AGACNP, PNP).Experience with specific EHR platforms used by the organization. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout the workday.Ability to lift or assist in moving patients and equipment as needed.Manual dexterity to perform physical examinations and operate medical equipment.Work in a fast-paced clinical environment, potentially exposed to infectious diseases and bodily fluids.Ability to concentrate and make critical decisions under pressure.
