At the InterContinental Hotel & Residences Abu Dhabi, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of hospitality while offering an exceptional work environment for our team members.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Cluster Revenue Optimization Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the revenue streams of both our hotel and residences. This includes driving pricing strategies, overseeing distribution channels, and utilizing data to maximize profitability while maintaining exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Front Office, to ensure alignment with our overall revenue and business goals.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

  • Revenue Strategy & Analysis: Develop, implement, and monitor revenue management strategies to optimize room and rate availability across various market segments.
  • Pricing and Inventory Control: Oversee pricing structures for rooms and residences, ensuring competitiveness within the market while maximizing revenue per available room (RevPAR).
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Work with the Cluster Director of Revenue Management to produce accurate forecasts and assist in the creation of budget plans for the property.
  • Performance Reporting: Regularly analyze performance metrics such as occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and RevPAR to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Market Insights: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Front Office, and Reservations teams to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
  • Revenue Distribution: Manage and optimize the distribution strategy across OTAs, GDS, direct channels, and other third-party platforms.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that revenue optimization strategies do not compromise guest satisfaction or service standards.

What we need from you:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in Revenue Management or related fields, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Education: A degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, IDeaS, RMS, or similar platforms).
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the local and regional market trends in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions that maximize profitability.
  • Proactive: Ability to identify revenue opportunities, implement strategies, and drive results autonomously.
