Howmet Aerospace is hiring a Maintenance Electrical Technician in Tucson, AZ. This is a full-time position.

- Minimum of three years' experience in a manufacturing environment performing machine maintenance and repair
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred
- Preferred
- Ability to install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment
- Fabrication experience
- Welding, HVAC, Plumbing and PLC experience a plus
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- This position will physically require the incumbent to perform duties standing, walking, overhead reaching, lifting (35 - 40lbs), pushing and pulling totes, and leaning over machines, all equally on a regular basis.
2nd Shift schedule: Monday - Friday; 2: 00PM - 10: 30PM
- Familiar with electrical machine/ facility maintenance and repair, including machining, motor controls.
- Familiar with the function and operation of a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes (i.e. heading, rolling, drilling, heat treat, plating, band annealing, assembly and facility support.)
- Ability to read equipment, component and wiring drawings and schematics.
- Familiar with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Familiar with VFD's, sensors, PLC's, controls, bus duct and bus ducts boxes
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair 480V, 240V, 120V, 24VDC, & 5VDC
- Familiar with driving a forklift and scissor lift
- Familiar with MS Office suite
- Team Player
- Takes initiative and follows directions
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved
