Job Description
Faribault Foods, Inc. is hiring a Inventory Specialist in Tucson, AZ. This is a full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following list describes duties to be performed, but responsibilities are not limited to this list. Coordinate monthly cycle counts with the Shipping and Receiving Supervisors. Input count results and analyze discrepancies while providing feedback to management for process improvements. Verify daily production to ensure that reported numbers are accurate with the warehouse management system as well as physical stock. Coordinate warehouse replenishments at the various warehouses within the company. Perform goods receipts of replenishments while ensuring product and lot integrity are maintained. Maintain min/max levels at the various warehouses within the company by analyzing sales history and adjusting as necessary. Perform inventory adjustments as necessary for damaged/missing product. Provide feedback to management for process improvements. Process returned product from production and provide necessary documentation to the Receiving Supervisor so that product may be returned to stock in a timely manner. Process product returns at the various warehouses within the company. Maintain organized documentation for process performed. Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. Adheres to company policies concerning GMPs. Work collaboratively to maintain high morale and quality focus among plant personnel. Foster positive employee relations and support the plants union-free status. Comply with all standard safety practices, safety guidelines, and all company guidelines and policies. Works assigned shifts and/or overtime plus weekends as required. Effectively read, write, speak and comprehend English. Maintain OSHA Certified Forklift License. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent; one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve production related problems as they pertain to materials/logistics. Working knowledge and experience with computers, preferably with Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience using SAP preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Must be able to understand and follow directions. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Must be able to demonstrate good attendance. Manual and finger dexterity. Must be able to participate in job development training, such as equipment cross-training and team development training LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to effectively read, write, speak and comprehend English. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compare rate, ration, and percent. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. While performing the duties of this job, the team member regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The team member is frequently exposed to heat and cold conditions depending upon outside temperatures and climate. Protective equipment must be worn around metal objects and liquid product when exposed to these conditions. The noise level in the work environment is at a level that hearing protection must be worn in production areas.
