We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, customer-focused primary care/adult medicine teams for Evernorth Care Group across the Phoenix Valley. Work hours: Typically, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Responsibilities: - As a RN you will have all of the responsibilities of the Medical Assistant and LPN in addition to being the clinical arm of your department.
- Triage patient calls and concerns, make outreach calls to patients post-hospitalization and after visiting the emergency room.
- Support the clinician to help manage the complex healthcare needs of patients, lead and support the back and front office staff with regards to patient's concerns or center needs
- Maintain supportive relationships with multi-disciplinary team members in order to provide the best comprehensive care possible for our patients.
- You may also be asked to draw blood from ports, start and maintain simple IV infusions, assess and triage immediate response events within the clinics, and support LPNs, clinically, throughout the day.
- Help answer questions, concerns, and requests, either in person, through our EHR and patient portal, or by phone.
- Ensure day-to-day operations in the clinic, use your organizational skills to help manage the health care needs of our varied patient population.
- Accurately follow all policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
- Practice in alignment with the scope of your licensure.
- Properly document your efforts of all the care and information provided to our patients.
- Appropriately manage ambiguity and recognize appropriate ways to deal with conflict management.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications: - RN License to practice in the state of Arizona
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- BCLS Certification
- Excellent customer skills, and care deeply about providing empathetic, quality care to customers
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry into our electronic health record system
Preferred qualifications: - 1+ year experience in the outpatient setting
- ACLS Certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
