Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develops new client relationships and identifies prospects, creating tailored marketing strategies for targeted outreach.
- Manages sophisticated credit, deposit, and treasury management relationships for high-net-worth accounts, family offices, closely held businesses and non-profit organizations.
- Identifies and facilitates opportunities across investment, fiduciary, and wealth management solutions beyond banking services.
- Structures and negotiates complex loan and lease agreements in alignment with bank policies and risk frameworks.
- Analyzes and negotiates key loan terms, including pricing conditions, interest rates, and interest rate swaps, ensuring compliance with Credit Policy Committee guidelines.
- Oversees the preparation and execution of loan documentation and ensures accuracy and completeness of financing agreements.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to clients on goals-based wealth management strategies.
- Responsible for "cold calling" on prospects with the ability to self-source new relationships
- Develops and maintains a strong network of Centers of Influence (COIs), leveraging relationships to generate new business opportunities.
- Serves as a subject matter expert, providing in-depth consultation and leadership to colleagues and internal partners.
- Leads strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects that are broad in scope and technically complex.
- Interfaces with senior leadership, committees, and other internal stakeholders to provide insight and drive strategic initiatives.
- Balances day-to-day operational execution with long-term business development and strategic planning responsibilities.
- Mentors junior team members and contributes to the development of best practices within the banking team.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Advanced understanding of the banking industry, competitive landscape, and credit/lending practices.
- Familiarity with investment, trust, and financial planning concepts to support comprehensive client solutions.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- High adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend solutions that enhance product and service offerings.
- Capable of influencing stakeholders and communicating complex concepts effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in a specialized banking or financial discipline.
Experience & Education
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, client servicing, commercial lending, or leasing.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.
