We are in search of a motivated person to join the team and drive equipment reliability improvement, develop best practice maintenance, coordinate critical equipment spares and plant improvement projects.

About the role

  • Assist and support in providing direction and guidance to the maintenance department to maximise plant availability, minimise costs and ensure proposed engineering solutions deliver on Manufacturing strategy and goals.

  • Together with departmental Leaders ensure a Safety-First culture and support Aliaxis Regional & Global Safety standards deployment

  • Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, corporate and ethical obligations to protect the Company reputation, brand and minimise risk to employees, stakeholders and the wider community

  • Support in delivering projects within the site that delivers improved HS& E, quality and availability

  • Work with site leaders and regional projects team to select and deliver correct capital investment.

  • Utilise best practice engineering methods and provide guidance for engineering initiatives

  • Identify and implement maintenance system improvements with ongoing benefits being delivered to the sites availability.

  • Review Preventative Maintenance Tasks quality, duration, and frequency to maximise plant availability

  • Maintain/develop technical relationship with plant and equipment suppliers

  • Conduct root cause analysis for major availability losses and implement identified corrective actions

About you

  • Experience in leading manufacturing projects

  • Experience in redesigning solutions for improved reliability on old plant

  • Stores/spares inventory setup and management

  • Experience in engineering/maintenance in a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated experience in planning maintenance activities

  • Understands equipment maintenance management processes, concepts and tools

  • Proven experience in preparing, monitoring and maintaining maintenance budgets

  • Exposure to 5S and LEAN thinking
