LyLo Auckland is our flagship property with 400 keys across pods and private rooms. Based in the heart of Auckland CBD, this is a busy property which includes Miss Lucys Bar & Restaurant.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a General Manager to lead LyLo Auckland and deliver on our brand promise of fun, flexibility, and exceptional guest experiences. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is all about driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and a vibrant team culture.

You’ll oversee all aspects of the property – from guest services and F& B to financial performance and brand standards – ensuring LyLo Auckland continues to set the benchmark for innovative, social accommodation.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hotel or Hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, design-led environment and wants to be part of a brand that’s redefining travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage LyLo Auckland’s day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency.
• Drive revenue growth and market share across rooms and F& B.
• Deliver strategic plans and implement brand standards, sustainability initiatives, and digital innovation.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of empowerment and inclusion.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and governance across all operations.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
• Promote LyLo’s unique brand personality and create memorable guest experiences.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a hospitality leader (General Management, Hotel Management, Venue Management, Department Management) within hotels or hospitality.
• Experience leading teams diverse teams of 25+ within a customer facing environment
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver financial results.
• Inspirational people leader with a focus on coaching and talent development.
• Deep understanding of hospitality operations and customer experience.
• Passion for the LyLo brand and creating vibrant, social spaces.
• Ability to drive transformation, sustainability, and digital innovation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
