About the role

To manufacture flexible and rigid PVC compounds and dry blends in accordance with the relevant company operating procedures whilst achieving required production outputs and ensuring the company’s product quality standards are maintained. To operate high speed PVC mixers and downstream equipment, along with PVC compounding equipment

What will you do?

  • Ensure product quality via training adherence and following machine instructions, particularly for PVC mixing and compounding equipment.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment, systems, and personnel through knowledge and skill sharing.

  • Maintain a positive and flexible work approach, fulfilling all tasks within team responsibilities to the best of their skill level.

  • Collaborate with the QC Technician to ensure products are manufactured to specification.

  • Create accurate records of production output and time-related information.

  • Monitor and adjust production to meet physical property requirements like color and hardness, making necessary changes if products fail to meet initial specifications.

  • Operate equipment to meet company-required output and scrap metrics.

  • Ensure accurate recording of manufacturing data.

About you

Industry experience in a production facility preferably one that has involved extruders, compounders or mixers.

F endorsed forklift license is essential for this role. Training will be given to a suitable candidate if they do not already possess an F endorsed forklift license.
