You will join The
Embedded Systems team within Innovation & Technology, a team composed of Experts in the field who brings relevant insights to divisions and platforming initiatives
Within a multidisciplinary electronics team, you will join a group focused more specifically on digital electronics to support Schneider's digital transformation.
To strengthen our team in place, we are seeking for an
experienced electronics embedded leader to be the technical product owner who will manage our
MPU (microprocessor platforms) portfolio.
Your role: As a
Technical Product Owner (TPO) in the field of
MPU, you will play a key role at the interface between technical teams, internal using our platforms, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
On the long term, in parallel of other designs, the position requires the management of the full lifecycles of these MPU platform (support to project, field returns analysis, maintenance of the present offers) and an involvement in anticipation / innovation activities to shape the future of MPU platform within Schneider.
You will translate business needs into clear, technically feasible requirements and prioritize them so the development team can deliver the right product efficiently.
Your responsibilities: - Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog in line with customer needs and business objectives.
- Work closely with technical teams, internal using our platforms, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Understand user needs and extract relevant requirements for MPU.
- Write product-level specifications and coordinate technical hardware and software deliverables.
- In an Agile mode, manage backlog, define sprint planning and report progress to project.
- Ensure technical consistency of the product throughout its lifecycle (from design to production).
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers, external partners, and suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships including selection, technical coordination, deliverable tracking, and performance management.
- Contribute to technology watch and continuous process improvement.
- Point of contact with teams managing FW running on our mpu platforms
Your profile: - Higher education in electronics (engineering school or university)
- +10 years experience in the embedded electronic industry.
- Solid knowledge of components used in combination with microprocessors (memory devices and power-management circuits)
- Experience in digital and analog electronic, Linux and PLM tool.
- Experience in technical product management or as a Product Owner / Project Manager in an agile or hybrid environment.
- Experience in managing technical suppliers (negotiation, deliverable tracking, coordination, quality).
- Experience in software/firmware integration or collaboration with embedded development teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with backlog management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Awareness of industrial constraints (cost, quality, deadlines)
- Willingness to learn application side of the electronic development and beyond.
- Acts as a collaborative team player who supports others by offering guidance and resources, while encouraging teammates to take ownership of their work.
