Provides analysis, reporting and insights for short and long-term production planning, capacity planning, and logistics for business unit operations.

Essential Position Responsibilities - This is a salary exempt position

Production Planning. Partners closely with Demand Planning and Production Planning to provide analytics, exception reporting and insights to drive key business metrics for both long-term and short-term production plans. Through the use of data analytics provides recommendations for the plant production product mix and changes.

Master Data Attribution. Accurately enter and validate master data records in designated systems following established standards. Perform routine data quality checks and identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records. Apply standardized naming conventions and taxonomies to ensure data consistency. Document data attribution processes, decisions, and changes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies. Follow data governance policies, security protocols, and compliance requirements

Supply Review. Supports the monthly supply review as part of the S& OP process. Provides data analysis, insights and recommendations in support of the supply plan based on demand, market conditions and other factors.

Inventory Management . Provides exception reporting and insights to support the supply team in obtaining appropriate inventory levels of finished goods by SKU based on the forecast demand, variation from forecast demand, and set service level by customer.

Participates as a member of the Team . Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attend appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues, e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position's role in support of these systems - including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): As needed by facility

Travel: May travel within North America to and from multiple facilities or worksites, requiring overnight stays.

Technical Experience: 0-3 years' experience in data analytics and supply chain/logistics or related field. Proven ability to utilize business intelligence software to analyze and present data to drive business decisions.

Industry Experience: Preference for pet or people food processing organization.

Minimum Education : Bachelor's Degree in related field or 4 years' equivalent experience
