DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker International, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in either Bentonville or Fayetteville. The Intern will assist Transportation Engineers and Project Managers with planning, design, analysis and production on highway and roadway engineering projects. Focus of work is related to civil transportation related engineering and may involve drafting and plan preparation, preparation of design and quantity calculations, field inspection, and general office tasks. The Intern will work under the supervision of a Project Manager or Licensed Engineers.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Enrolled in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of some secondary completed coursework in students' field of study
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or Microstation design software is preferred
