Job Description
HFA Enterprises is hiring a Business Intelligence Specialist I in Bentonville, AR. This is a full-time position.
We are seeking a Power BI / Data Visualization Specialist to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. This role will partner with Operations, Finance, and Business Technology teams to deliver clear, accurate, and impactful reporting that supports data-driven decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Business Technology teams to deliver clear, accurate, and impactful reporting
- Support data-driven decision-making through reporting and analytics
- Translate complex data into meaningful, visually compelling narratives
- Support data governance, reporting performance, and end-user enablement
Job Duties:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and similar visualization tools
- Create intuitive visualizations that communicate trends, risks, and opportunities
- Build and maintain standardized reporting frameworks and templates
- Develop data models to support scalable and high-performance reporting
- Clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources such as ERP, CRM, and data warehouses
- Create calculated measures and KPIs using DAX and Power Query
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and dashboards
- Provide insights that support operational, financial, and strategic decisions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and appropriate security across reports
- Maintain documentation of data sources, transformations, and reporting logic
- Train and support end users on Power BI tools and reports
- Troubleshoot report issues and optimize performance
- Stay current with Power BI features and industry trends
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Licensure Requirements: None required
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Power BI, data visualization, or business intelligence
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft ecosystem tools such as Dynamics 365, Azure, Excel, and Dataverse
- Experience working with ERP or project-based financial data
- Power BI certification such as PL-300
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines
