Job Description
CARTI is hiring a Workday Analyst, Senior in Little Rock, AR. This is a full-time position.
The Senior Workday Analyst is responsible for configuring and maintaining the Workday platform in support of CARTI's Human Capital Management, Payroll, Financials, and Financial Planning functions. This role analyzes business processes for optimization and supports system upgrades, testing, and integrations while minimizing disruptions to end users. The Senior Workday Analyst acts as a liaison between IT, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, Contracting, and other departments to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements. This role provides end-user training, process guides, and documentation on best practices for the organization. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Configures, maintains, and supports the Workday platform across Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Financials, and Financial Planning modules.Partners with Human Resources, Finance, and IT stakeholders gather business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations.Analyzes existing business processes and recommends optimizations to improve efficiency and data accuracy within Workday.Supports system upgrades, testing cycles, and integrations to minimize disruption to end users and business operations.Serves as a liaison between IT, Human Resources, Finance, and other departments to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements.Develops and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields using Workday reporting tools.Provides end-user training and creates supporting documentation, including job aids and process guides.Participates in Workday release management, including review of periodic system updates and communication of relevant changes to stakeholders.Assists with data validation and quality assurance activities during implementation phases and subsequent configuration changes.Maintains awareness of new developments, features, and best practices within the Workday platform.Participates in required training and departmental activities.Performs other duties as required to support organizational and departmental objectives. OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: No EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.Certifications preferred or willingness to obtain: Workday Pro Certification in HCM, Payroll, or Financial Management. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: 4 years of experience supporting an enterprise HRIS, ERP, or financial management system.Working knowledge of Workday or a comparable enterprise HCM or financial platform.Ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into system configurations.Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills.Ability to work on multiple, moderately complex assignments simultaneously.Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and financial data.Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work, with growing exposure to complex tasks within the job function. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems where limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions at a college level.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to serve as the primary contact while troubleshooting problems with end users.Ability to serve as liaison between Human Resources, Finance, and the Information Technology Department, translating business needs into technical requirements INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must interact and communicate both verbally and in written form.Must interact and exchange information regarding employee and financial data with Human Resources, Finance, and other departmental personnel, while respecting confidentiality.Ability to work individually and in a team setting as required.Ability to resolve issues and complaints, maintain confidentiality, and make satisfactory decisions independently.Ability to interact effectively with staff across all levels of the organization.
