Description:

​​ Work with Warehouse Manager to maintain proper flow and shipping of outbound material. ​

Essential Functions
  • ​​ Process Requests for Shipping
  • ​ Process picking slips for jobs to be packed/Stock requisitions to be pulled
  • ​ Manage Orders Actions
  • ​ Monitor and facilitate Charlotte Warehouse email requests
  • ​ Maintain shipment management to ensure shipments are completed
  • ​ Manage POD application.
  • ​ Initiate Shipment within app
  • ​ Help manage and maintain Cook and Boardman fleet.
  • ​ Print Barcodes for QA
  • ​ Verify Signatures and make corrections when necessary.
  • ​ Work with Warehouse Manager to be liaison between Sales force and warehouse shipping needs
  • ​ Collaborate with team members to evaluate/implement process and procedures
  • ​ Any other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager
  • ​ Other relative duties as assigned ​


Minimum Qualifications
  • ​​ High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • ​ Current and valid US driver's license preferred
  • ​ Forklift certification preferred
  • ​ At least 1 years of experience in similar position preferred
  • ​ Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check ​


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • ​​ Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
  • ​ Experience with Microsoft Office
  • ​ Good communication skills - proper use of company issued devices
  • ​ Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
  • ​ Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates ​
Physical Demands
This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.

Work Environment
This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
