Specialty Rx Alabama is hiring a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Cullman, AL. This is a full-time position.

VCM Pharmacy Operations is committed to delivering personalized care and high-quality pharmacy services. NOTICE: VCM Pharmacy Operations is seeking Pharmacy Technicians located in the surrounding areas of Cullman, AL. Responsibilities Able to work under the direction of a supervisor Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications Package fill and ship medications Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information Generate labels for dispensing Answer phones and respond to order inquiries Clarify orders as needed Triage incoming faxes Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor Qualifications Registered AL Pharmacy Technician required Certified AL Pharmacy Technician preferred Previous pharmacy experience preferred Previous data entry experience preferred Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned Good organizational skills and detail oriented Ability to physically perform light lifting Knowledge of brand name and generic medications Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently Knowledge of SIG-Codes Quick typing skills Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS EEO Statement, VCM Pharmacy Operations is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
