Description:

Neptune has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Control Supervisor, a position that will support the company’s goal of improving manufacturing quality and efficiency by overseeing the quality control process, daily lab operations, and personnel.

The quality control supervisor will oversee the testing of raw materials, intermediate products, and final products to ensure products comply with customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Neptune standards. As an integral member of the production team, the Quality Control Supervisor will collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments as necessary to assist with response and actions associated with quality concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train quality inspectors and technicians.
  • Ensure that products, parts, and materials meet quality standards and Neptune specifications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and analyze quality problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in quality control.
  • Support the company’s continuous improvement goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g. engineering, science, quality management)
  • 4+ years’ experience in a quality or related manufacturing role.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a quality or related manufacturing leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, hands on, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to go beyond the call of duty and act despite uncertainty.
  • Enthusiasm and passion in everything you do.

Travel Requirements and Work Environment

  • Less than 10% travel required, could include international travel
  • Employees may be exposed to moderate noise levels and processes that utilize solder, potting material, conformal coating, and cleaning agents.
  • Work areas include machines with sharp moving parts and hot surfaces.
  • Employees are required to wear safety glasses, safety shoes, ESD smocks, or other necessary PPE while in production areas.
