Description:

The HR Generalist supports day‑to‑day human resources activities within a fast‑paced production environment. This role ensures consistent application of HR policies, provides employee‑facing support, partners closely with HRBPs and Operations leadership, and helps drive a positive and productive workplace culture. Key focus areas include employee relations, staffing support, new hire onboarding, HR compliance, and administration of company policies and programs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide timely and professional support on HR questions, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Support recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, and coordination with hiring managers.
  • Lead onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Administer the merit increase process for hourly employees, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with compensation guidelines.
  • Coordinate and administer skill assessments and workforce development activities such as WorkKeys.
  • Serve as backup point of contact for temporary staffing.
  • Support employee engagement activities and communication initiatives.
  • Perform other HR related duties as assigned.

A successful candidate will need

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with strong initiative
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources highly preferred
