KWR Maintenance Technician

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on machines and facility systems according to schedule.Diagnose equipment failures and take corrective action to restore operations quickly and safely.Repair and replace components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, rollers, pumps, valves, sensors, switches, and cylinders.Perform basic electrical work including checking voltages, replacing sensors, starters, relays, and wiring connections (as qualified).Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed.Use schematics, manuals, and technical documents to support troubleshooting and repairs.Document completed work using work orders, PM logs, or maintenance tracking systems.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool and parts storage.Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and machine guarding requirements.Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.Support equipment installations, modifications, and plant improvement projects.Communicate equipment status and repair progress to production and maintenance leadership. Other Participate in safety meetings and required training.Support emergency repairs and after-hours response as assigned.Assist in training apprentices or less experienced technicians when needed.General housekeepingAdditional duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent time management skillsAbility to follow instructions and complete assignmentsAble to work in various work environments (inside/outside)Proper use of various equipment and job related toolsProlonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing, or kneelingMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: ? Ability to pass the company forklift certification (written & hands on) ? Understand and follow all company policies and procedures ? Valid I.D. ? Must pass pre-employment medical screening
