KWR Extruder Operator

TYPICAL DUTIES: Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to production schedules and specificationsMonitor equipment performance, material flow, temperatures, pressures and product qualityMake adjustments to machine settings to maintain product specifications and reduce scrapInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirementsIdentify, troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions or process issuesPerform routine maintenance, cleaning and changeovers on extrusion equipmentAccurately document production data, downtime and quality checksFollow all safety, environmental and operational proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance and quality teams to meet production goalsGeneral housekeepingAdditional duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Able to work in various work environments (inside/outside)Proper use of various equipment and job-related toolsProlonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing or kneelingMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
