About the Opportunity

Cool Temp Services is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer to support commercial construction and installation projects throughout Alabama and surrounding areas.

Our projects include retail facilities, travel centers, new construction, and commercial build-outs. We are looking for someone who understands ductwork, can read mechanical plans, and takes pride in completing installations safely, accurately, and on schedule.

This is a hands-on installation position with opportunities to grow into a crew leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Read mechanical blueprints and lay out commercial HVAC ductwork.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install custom sheet metal duct systems.
• Install rooftop HVAC equipment, associated ductwork, and related components.
• Perform rough-in and finish installation work.
• Coordinate materials, labor, and installation schedules.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site.
• Work with supervisors and other trades to resolve field installation issues.
• Travel to out-of-area commercial projects when required.
• Support residential HVAC installations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional HVAC installation experience.
• Strong commercial ductwork installation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and duct layout.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Universal EPA certification.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight for assigned projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Relevant state HVAC license, where applicable.
• Experience installing commercial rooftop units.
• Material management and job cost awareness.
• Previous crew leadership or mentoring experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• 25–32+ per hour based on experience.
