When School's Out...Clubs are In! This is a PART-TIME position, approximately 20 hours per week (full-time hours in summer). Position: Program Assistant - Games Room (Part-Time)Hours: Between 2: 30pm and 6: 30pm Monday through Friday during the school year (up to 20 hours per week), and up to 40 hours per week between 7: 30am-6: 30pm during June and July for the summer program. Occasional evening or weekend events may be required (these are very infrequent). Pay Rate: $15 per hour Boys & Girls Clubs are more than simply a place for kids to "hang out"; for many young people we are a sanctuary that provides a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. Program Assistants work directly with Club members (ages 6 to 18) in our various program areas. The Games Room Program Assistant is responsible for overseeing the game room area within a club, planning and facilitating recreational activities for members, enforcing safety rules, maintaining equipment, and creating a positive and engaging environment for young people to enjoy various games and activities, all while promoting youth development through active play.
