Job Overview

Blade Construction LLC is seeking a reliable, experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team on a long-term marine construction project running through 2027. This role will primarily involve operating a 700-class bulldozer, with opportunities to run other large equipment such as 300+ class excavators and marsh buggies. We are looking for a teammate with a positive attitude, physical stamina, and a commitment to jobsite safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment with precision and care on marine and heavy civil construction sites.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and communicate with supervisors and mechanics to maintain equipment performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to protect personnel and property.
• Work under direction from field supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Assist with other labor or equipment-related tasks when needed to ensure project progress.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work habits on all job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction site.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday-Friday

Overtime available based on project needs

Occasional weekend work depending on job schedule
