Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team in the Decatur, AL area. As a strategic member of a highly collaborative organization, the field service technician will be responsible for installing equipment and investigating and solving customers technical problems. In this role, the technician will spend their time going out to customer sites and working in the field. Responsibilities and Duties Assemble and test equipmentInstall new equipment at customers facility and ensure full functionalityFamiliar with equipments softwareProvide on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipmentSubmit complete service reports for customer invoicingReview performance reports from customers and inspects malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine the nature and scope of the problemPackage and ship customer ordersAssemble customer orders Qualifications and Skills Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical schoolAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc.Ability to solve practical problemsAbility to meet the physical demands of this job: stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, move up to 50 pounds, etc. Benefits Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceHealth savings accountFlexible savings accountPaid Time Off401K program BBP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
