Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous material-handling experience (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Occasional overtime
  • Related experience or education is a plus


What You'll Do
  • Use and maintain appropriate PPE
  • Read and follow technical documents
  • Deliver parts to technicians as needed
  • Organize and maintain the parts warehouse
  • Test and operate parts when required
  • Monitor inventory and reorder parts
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and documentation
  • Receive, inspect, count, and stock incoming shipments
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Work professionally with vendors and shippers
  • Keep all paperwork accurate and current
  • Transport hazardous materials when needed
  • Complete daily forklift inspections
  • Support the Altec Production System (APS)
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
  • Cross-train with other areas in the Parts Department
