Position Overview: - Claim Submission and Follow-Up: Prepare, submit, and monitor Medicaid claims to ensure all documentation is accurate. Address any denials or rejections in a timely manner.
- Billing Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate billing discrepancies and collaborate with Medicaid offices to resolve them. Adjust patient bills when needed.
- Policy Adherence: Stay informed on Medicaid billing policies, procedures, and coding requirements to ensure compliance.
- Reporting: Generate reports on Medicaid billings, adjustments, and payments, and provide regular updates to management on outstanding claims.
- Communication: Work closely with residents, insurance companies, and internal teams to facilitate the billing process and resolve any issues.
Qualifications: - Experience with Medicaid claims processing or similar healthcare billing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid billing guidelines, policies, and reimbursement procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accurate billing records and claim tracking
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with residents, family members, insurance companies, and healthcare teams.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
