Description:

Perform operational functions; support department to achieve sales goals; display merchandise; assist customers according to Customer 1st standards. Role model and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.Minimum
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass drug test
  • Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays on an occasional basis
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Familiarity with jewelry terms and processes
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations and techniques

Desired

  • Model "Customer 1st" behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  • Comply with Division dress code
  • Prepare all merchandise shipments from store location, including completion of proper paperwork, computer entry, and physical packaging of merchandise
  • Recall-stock balance and direct returns to vendor
  • Complete all special orders (including receiving and pick up)
  • Process all trade-ins and break-aparts in accordance with procedure in Policy and Procedures Guide
  • Receive incoming merchandise including completion of proper paperwork, computer entry, and receiving log
  • Request return authorizations as needed from vendors
  • Make vendor inquiries concerning overdue shipments or special orders
  • Relate repair estimate cost and time to customers
  • Send out ring cleaning, inspection notification cards, and Thank You cards each month to customers
  • Manage voucher distribution reconciliation
  • Maintain aging layaway summary
  • Print, audit, and reconcile Cash Drawer Reports
  • Audit case counts
  • Prepare and participate in all inventories
  • Maintain price changes and merchandise tags
  • Place orders with Corporate Supply (CPS), as approved by Manager
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
