What You'll Do:

You will be responsible for assisting customers with requests for fuel products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use forklift to load and unload trailers, deliver lube products barrels to customer vehicles and move items within the shop area.
• Ensure the work and shop areas are clean and tidy; this includes lawn services.
• During winter months ensure that the snow is maintained around the yard and at our retail card lock gas stations.
• Move supplies and/or equipment to designated storage areas.
• Drive company vehicles (non CDL) to plow snow, transport package products, do station checks, and other duties as assigned.
• Assist vessels with docking and undocking.
• Observe pump meters and receives and processes payments from customers for purchases.
• Perform routine maintenance to work area in order to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Ensure the work area is clean and tidy including moving supplies and/or equipment to designated storage areas.
• Ensure work is being performed according to company operational and safety standards.
• Act as a first responder to fuel spill incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Credentials:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Entry level job. Industrial related previous experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

Familiar with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word and other technology such as tablets and smart phone.

Competencies:

• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, mowers, pickup trucks, and hand tools
• Ability to repetitively lift and handle 35# propane bottles.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Other:

• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card are required.
• CDL is not required but would be a plus.
• Forklift certification is preferred and may be required after completion of the introductory period.
