Work Arrangement

• Travel - approximately 75% of the time
• Based on operational needs
• Work schedule is flexible, dependent upon operational requirements and is to be mutually agreed upon between the company and the employee.

What You'll Do

Responsible for driving designated routes in various locations to load and/or unload freight safely and timely.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive petroleum products to and from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required.
• Perform customer service activities, including fuel attendant duties.
• Assist with gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips and credit card charges.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts and repairs.
• Perform or assist with weekly inspections of facilities.
• Assist maintenance crews with maintenance and upgrades.
• Track and reorder inventory.
• Complete paperwork and update information into computer tracking systems.
• Understand and implement company, state and federal regulations.
• Act as a first responder to any spill incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Since Crowley is an Essential Services Provider, drivers must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and conditions.

Education & Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements.

• Must meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

• Must possess a current medical card.

• 24 Hour HAZWOPPER Certification training preferred.

Experience

• 2 years experience operating vehicles that require a CDL.

• Experience with propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane, or boom truck is preferred .

Technical Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Able to use a Tablet.
• Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate and/or maintain machinery, tools and equipment.
