Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the daily operations of a combined marine terminal and petroleum tank farm.
  • Responsibility for inventory control at the Terminal.
  • Oversees the repairs of equipment as necessary from power tools to hydraulic equipment.
  • Maintains shop in clean and orderly manner.
  • Coordinates the basic repairs in a variety of mediums.
  • Responsible for basic mechanical and electronic troubleshooting.
  • Assists in maintaining basic shop supplies and parts inventory.
  • Responsible for basic engine and machine repairs as necessary.
  • Prepares reports, records work orders, and maintains daily/monthly records.
  • Assigned duty as first responder to any company oil spill incidents.
  • Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Will not discipline or effectively suggest discipline


Salary: Union ScaleQualifications:
  • Must meet all qualifications as a Fuel Truck Driver:
    • Must possess a Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement
    • Minimum one-year experience driving straight trucks
    • Must be able to wear a half face respirator
    • Must be able to climb stairs at least 50 ft. high
    • Requires work outside in all types of weather
    • 24 Hour HAZWOPER Certification training preferred
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • First aid and CPR certifications.
  • Five years petroleum industry experience with a minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory position at a Fuel Terminal required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
