We are looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our team at Crowne Plaza Canberra. You will be leading the charge to ensure our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience – whether they’ve worked up an appetite for a full conference banquet or are just joining us for their favourite hot beverage.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be looking after:

• Hands on, day to day managing of the Food & Beverage department
• Delivering exceptional guest and corporate experiences by setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them
• Coach and develop our food & beverage team through regular feedback and goal setting
• Managing food and beverage standards to deliver against our commitment to responsible business practices
• Multitasking to oversee our Redsalt Restaurant, Lume Bar, banquets, and room service offering
• Drive departmental profitability by effectively managing procurement, inventory, and labour costs.

About you:

• Experience working in a similar leadership role in a hotel
• Strong communicator and able to balance priorities
• Understanding of budgeting, cost control and rostering
• Available to work a rotating roster, this includes evenings, weekends and Public Holidays
• Must have working rights for Australia
• Current RSA, and First Aid (including CPR) certifications.
