About the Role

Join the team at Capitol Bar & Grill, this is where dining is celebrated with flame and finesse, bringing together bold, rustic dishes rooted in the finest local ingredients. We are looking for a full-time CDP with a passion for cook great food and delivering a high end dining experience.

What You’ll Bring

• 1-2 years’ worth of CDP experience in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.
• Experience across the kitchen including wood-fired grill, larder and pans.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff and manage a section when required.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain product consistent of all food serviced from the kitchen, following standard recipes and proper portion control across all outlets.
• Prepare and present all required menu items with a strong recipe knowledge.
• Maintain excellent food storage, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
• Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs while upholding professional personal grooming and positive team relationships.
