About the Role

Join the team at QT as a Full-Time CDP. Bring your skills, passion and knowledge for cooking premium local produce to the team. Bold flavours meets Modern-Australian dining, showcasing the finest local produce including fresh oysters, protein and honey from the hotels very own rooftop garden.

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years’ worth of experience as a CDP in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.
• Experience across different sections including pans, grill and larder.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain product consistent of all food serviced from the kitchen, following standard recipes and proper portion control across all outlets.
• Prepare and present all required menu items—including sauces, soups, hot dishes, pantry items, and specialty dishes—with strong recipe knowledge.
• Maintain excellent food storage, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
• Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs while upholding professional personal grooming and positive team relationships.
