Are you interested in contributing to the development and growth of the Process Automation business area at Schneider Electric? We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to work with the Nordic and Baltic countries in the New Energy Landscape. As our new Technical Sales Consultant, you will combine your technical expertise with a sales-oriented approach. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Business Developers and Account Manager as the technical expert. Your responsibilities will include translating the customers' business and functional requirements into technical solutions that best meet the customers' needs. You will also need to effectively communicate and sell these solutions both internally and to the customer. Additionally, you will regularly communicate with our global technical experts within the company. As a technical sales consultant, you will report to the General Manager for Process Automation Nordic & Baltic.

Given that the organization is in a phase of growth and strong development, it is important to have the courage to question old truths in order to find new ways forward. Success in this role will require the ability to communicate a compelling vision and inspire and motivate both customers and internal teams.

Your main responsibilities can be summarized as follows:
  • Work collaboratively with salespeople to cultivate customer relationships.
  • Analyse, design, and present technical solutions for process automation.
  • Take responsibility for developing solutions and architectures.
  • Manage the technical interface between the sales, tender team and the delivery organization.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness by developing and assisting with sales strategies, pricing, and market analysis.
YOUR COMPETENCES:

You have experience working with greenfield process control solutions and possess good knowledge of software and process safety systems. We believe you are up to speed with the latest technology within the area of Process Automation and cybersecurity. You have a talent for presenting technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner. Your passion for your field is evident, and you are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

YOUR BACKGROUND/PROFILE
  • Experience in software solutions.
  • Current technical expertise in automation and process safety systems.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic focus on the customer and their benefits.
  • You likely hold an academic degree in technology.
  • Experience working within a matrix organization in a large company.
  • You are proficient in English, both in speech and writing.
