Description:

  • Ensure compliance of mechanical and electrical components, structures, assemblies, and mounting systems of switchboards with Schneider Electric standards, technical specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Validate mechanical assemblies according to drawings, bills of materials, torque specifications, and assembly instructions.
  • Lead problem solving for customer complaints applying 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma all driving to understand root cause.
  • Lead implementation for corrective and preventive actions, always focusing on continuous improvement for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote and develop quality and customer satisfaction culture
  • Interface with external customer regarding product concerns, responsible for investigations, customer follow-up, and ultimate customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement for non conforming parts, follow up with suppliers and engineering.
  • Develop and implement quality documentation such as PFMEA, control plan
  • Lead continuous process improvement impacting non quality costs and customer returns.
  • Apply quality system based on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001standards and participate in internal audits.
  • Participate/Lead Kaikaku or other large-scale process re-engineering projects to improve quality.
  • Monthly / weekly reporting of Quality related KPI's, providing effective communication of PPM levels & rejections to improve overall performance levels
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic)
  • 3+ years of experience in quality systems engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or prefabrication environment.
  • Knowledge of Low-voltage electrical switchgear design and manufacturing requirements,
  • ISO 9001, 14001, 45001knowledge
  • MS Office skills - strong Excel an advantage.
  • Quality / Six Sigma tools: PFMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis (5Y's / 8D).
  • Auditing and assessing techniques
  • Experience in training, process implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Engineering drawing interpretation
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detail
  • Advanced English Level is required
