Job Summary:
Civeo Canada is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Controller, this key role will be instrumental in delivering accurate financial reporting, leading budget and forecast planning, and providing vital operational support-all while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze and present monthly financial statements for multiple operating groups.
• Lead the monthly forecasting for various business units and contribute to the annual budgeting process in collaboration with operations and sales groups.
• Oversee and coordinate GST filings and remittances and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Support for internal and external audit requests by providing requested documentation and explanations for SOX compliance.
• Ensure that all month-end financial duties and resulting financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review of journal entries, including the review of month end accruals to ensure accurate period reporting, along with supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Serve as a liaison between operations and finance to ensure concise and accurate flow of information
• Support business initiatives by participating in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related discipline; CPA designation preferred
• 3-6 years of documented progressive accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (JD Edwards & Hyperion experience an asset).
• Effective analytical skills coupled with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to stay flexible and effective in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently.
