We are searching for the best talent to join our team as an EP Sr Dir Plant Manager located in Grecia, Costa Rica.

Purpose:

You will report directly to the VP Supply Chain Operations, EP and must be based in or willing to relocate to Grecia, Costa Rica.

As EP Sr Dir Plant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a manufacturing network, maximizing quality, service, talent development and safety, occupational health, and environmental compliance. In addition, you will be accountable to align all operations departments to achieve business goals.

In accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Effectively manage all plant operations.
  • Develop plant business plan and ensure targets are met.
  • Ensure effective use of quality systems and adherence to Quality System Regulations (QSR).
  • Develop long and short-term Strategic Plans
  • Ensure manufacturing and distribution of quality products.
  • Provide development opportunities for plant staff.
  • Ensure effective cost management of all plant operations.
  • Ensure desired customer service levels are met and maintained.
  • Ensure workforce is adequately trained.
  • Ensure skilled resources are hired and retained.
  • Ensure adherence to J& J CREDO
  • Promote and practice effective diversity management.
  • Ensure compliance with the quality policy in all activities
  • Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objectives of the plant
  • Directs plant operations through implementation of established policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring personnel and Company compliance with all country and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Reviews plant Quality and Compliance performance data and assigns resources to meet requirements.
  • Manages resources to ensure that plant personnel can meet Quality, Safety Environmental, and Occupational Health requirements.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:

Required

  • 10+ Years of Manufacturing or Operations Experience
  • A minimum of B.S. Degree in technical field required
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance, cGMP’s, Safety and Environmental requirements, facilities, maintenance, finance, and human resources planning and development.
  • Interacting effectively with business leaders at regional and corporate levels, maintain external alliances with government representatives, of other organizations and associations to comply with the needs, goals, and objectives of the business.

Preferred

  • M.S. or MBA preferred
  • Medical Device experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
