Your role: As a Strategy Planning Director reporting to the SVP strategy (Prafull), you will be responsible for developing transformative strategic thinking and idea generation for our industrial automation business for growt In a rapidly changing landscape, constantly bringing new/ external perspective will be critical.
You will be expected to collaborate with teams across the company to ensure the strategies deployed are the most innovative and impactful.
This is an Individual contributor role, joining a core team of ~10 Strategy and transformation leaders and a Strategy community of 20+ across Industrial Autimation.
Your missions: Shape Strategy & Drive Impact- Lead high-impact analyses and deep dives on critical strategic and transformation topics
- Contribute to defining the mid-term strategy across key geographies and business segments
- Help shape strategic priorities, growth opportunities, and transformation roadmaps
- Provide objective, fact-based insights to solve complex business challenges
Influence Executive Decisions- Develop clear, compelling storylines to support senior leadership decision-making
- Prepare executive-level materials for ExCom, Board, and key governance forums
- Anticipate leadership questions, risks, and decision points
- Translate complex analyses into simple, actionable recommendations
Execute Strategy & Deliver Results- Support the execution of the strategic plan and track progress across initiatives
- Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and quality of execution
- Identify risks, drive mitigation actions, and ensure delivery of business impact
- Contribute to strategic governance, reporting, and performance tracking
Work at the Center of the Organization- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Business Units, regions, and functions globally
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to leadership teams
- Facilitate alignment in a complex, multicultural environment spanning Europe, North America, and Asia
Your profile: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation roles
- Experience in industrial, automation, technology, or digital environments is a plus
