QA Engineer

What you’ll achieve

As the QA Engineer, you will be part of our effort to create the next generation of information and workflow solutions for our Diagnostic Imaging portfolio, making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Promote and implement QA automation best practices to ensure high test coverage, maintainability, and scalability of automated test suites, while fostering collaboration among developers and operations to drive shared ownership of software quality.
  • Integrate automated testing at every stage of the development lifecycle, from code commits to deployment, ensuring early detection and resolution of issues to minimize production risks.
  • Continuously monitor test results and application performance, utilizing analytics to provide rapid feedback and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Efficiently manage test environments that closely mirror production, allowing for realistic testing conditions and relevant issue identification.

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in QA or software development with a strong focus on automated testing.
  • Proficiency in modern testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) and E2E testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing practices.
  • Knowledge of tools and practices for monitoring test results and application performance to facilitate rapid feedback loops.
  • Solid knowledge of quality metrics and KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage, test effectiveness), and experience interpreting these metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience working in microservice environments, with exposure to Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Hands-on experience in agile development teams.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain is a strong plus.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience conducting or participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and writing actionable RCA reports.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to write clear test plans, document quality issues, and provide structured QA feedback.
  • Comfort with SQL or data analytics platforms (e.g., Grafana, DX Studio) for exploring quality trends and supporting dashboards.
  • Knowledge of security testing, access control validation, and performance testing in distributed systems.
