The Role: We're seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to help pioneer surgical visualization technologies. In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation across the technology stack—from data collection and algorithm development to deployment and iteration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop novel computer vision and artificial intelligence based technologies to make surgery more efficient and safe
• Implement low latency image processing pipelines in C++/CUDA
• Work closely with team to collect datasets for development, testing and AI/ML model training
• Build and deploy tools for visualizing, debugging, and evaluating the image data, associated annotations and objective metrics.
• Work in a dynamic, agile environment, partnering with other advanced imaging program teams to drive forward breakthroughs in medical visualization technologies.

Qualifications

• Educational background: A MS in engineering.

Required:

• Familiarity with computer vision fundamentals (intrinsic and extrinsic calibrations, projection matrices, epipolar geometry and computational photography).
• Software Engineering and programming skills with C++.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with AI/ML (e.g. PyTorch)
• Experience with CUDA
• Experience with handling data, defining data ground truth, and handling data infrastructure.
• Experience within Git source control
• Experience with software testing and continuous integration/DevOps.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)
