Mission

The Cybersecurity Engineer has the primary responsibility for designing, technically executing, delivering, maintaining, and diagnosing security solutions for clients while implementing security solutions in Schneider Electric's automation systems.

What will you do?
  • Supporting customers' technical Cybersecurity queries and cases through maintenance contracts for automatization solutions installed for our Schneider Electric Delivery Organization.
  • Evaluating existing and new technologies for Schneider Electric security solutions.
  • Providing prompt responses to cybersecurity issues at customer sites, working closely with Customer Support Departments.
  • Working with product managers and project sponsors to implement Schneider Electric Security solutions, including site visits for security maintenance, training, and consultation.
  • Configuring approved host and network security solutions, as well as Network Performance Monitoring and Management solutions.
  • Overseeing network element modifications and reconfigurations.
  • Managing installation and connectivity testing of security solutions and leading application acceptance testing from a security perspective.
  • Developing and delivering end-user training, while creating technical documentation as required.
  • Working, supporting and collaborating with automatization Engineers delivering Schneider Electric Advanced Automatization solutions to important customers.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Degree in a computer-related field, along with one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISA99, or IC32-34.
  • Experience with network topology, configuring network equipment (preferably CISCO, Hirschmann, Schneider).
  • Knowledge in installing and/or managing network-based firewalls, preferably Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or other leading products.
  • Understanding of high availability network technologies. Experience in a mixed environment of standard and non-standard TCP/IP protocols. Also LAN, WAN, and technology experience.
  • Initial experience in Industrial Control System OT.
  • Willingness to travel and be on call for customer support rotation.
  • Customer-focused.
  • English (Technical) required, Italian mandatory.
