In this role, you will:

Summary of position

This role is a member of the EM R& D Team, reporting to the R& D Center of Excellence Leader. The Compliance & Specification Management role is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes comply with regulatory standards and internal specifications. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, as well as managing product specifications to ensure quality and consistency, in accordance with the Kimberly-Clark Quality Management System. The role is accountable for contributing to the business objectives and must demonstrate the One K-C Behaviours and values.

Essential accountabilities

  • Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Manage design control activities, including design reviews, verification, and validation, to ensure product designs meet regulatory and quality standards.

  • Oversee change control processes to ensure all changes are documented, reviewed, and approved in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.

  • Facilitate process harmonization initiatives to standardize procedures, documentation and practices across the organization, promoting efficiency and consistency.

  • Monitor and audit internal processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Manage and maintain product specifications, ensuring they meet quality and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and specification requirements are integrated into product development and manufacturing processes.

  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on compliance and specification management practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.

  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and non-conformances.

  • Support internal and external audits related to compliance and specifications.

  • Conducts all communications and transactions with the utmost integrity, consistent with the KC Code of Conduct. Communicates fully with Senior Leaders, Peers, etc. with matters that are appropriate.

Working conditions

  • Work is completed in manufacturing facilities. In the typical K-C manufacturing environment, depending on location, can be exposed to dust, heat, noise, moisture up to clean room environments. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times (may include safety glasses, ear protection, hair nets, beard bags (if applicable), full gowning.)

  • Role is Ho Chi Minh City base, Vietnam.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, Quality Assurance, Engineering or related field).

  • From 3 years of experience in compliance management, quality assurance, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
