Job Description

Schneider Electric is hiring a Industrial Test Engineer in Conselve (PD), 34. This is a full-time position.

Scope:

• Manage Industrial activities related to Conselve Factory supporting running production and continuous improvement activities

• Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures.

• Work closely with departments within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly.

• Close collaboration with peers in facilities abroad can be expected.

The Test Engineer in Conselve leads the test industrial activities defining and implementing methods and equipment linked mainly to ongoing products; he reports directly to Methods Manager.

The main tasks fall - depending on the project scope - into these categories:

• Influence the design of the products from the most upstream phases of the Offer Creation Process: simultaneous and collaborative design of products, processes and flows

• Be responsible of the electrical and test activities processes and flows until when reached the required level of robustness, capability and efficiency

• Define the mandatory requirement for key processes and manage it during the product life

• Coordinate process and flow modifications for the Product Evolution

• Support the Offer Creation innovative industrial technologies when product requires

• Support MLO definition on new units, with cost reduction activities acting on product and processes

Background & skills:

• Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC or similar technical relevant education

• An open mindset and a high degree of self-discipline

• Ability to work effectively with various departments and contribute to team projects.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.

• Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.

Nice to have:

• Labview & Python knowledge and communication protocols as Modbus, Bacnet, Canbus

• Applicants with experience from Cooling production is preferred but not mandatory
