General Summary:

The Neutrogena & Aveeno Group Marketing Manager, AMET (Africa, Middle East and Turkey) is responsible for driving the growth model for Neutrogena and Aveeno brands in the cluster, reporting to the Head of Marketing Skin Health AMET. Internally, you are a key partner of both Regional (EMEA) and Global marketing teams and works closely with AMET commercial teams.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Brand Strategy Implementation and Execution Planning

o Full accountability to deliver in year NTS, GP & share targets and shape the Y2-Y3 plans

o Partners with senior management, lead-markets and cross functional teams in creating a robust End to End plans for the cluster

o Conducts business reviews with the markets identifying new opportunities and the need to revise plans if necessary.

o Monitors market, brand performance, competitors, trends and consumer insights. Ensure a deep understanding of the key drivers behind share and sales performance to inform marketing strategies and tactics.

o Leads the 3YOP Plan for Neutrogena and Aveeno.

o Works closely with EMEA squads to echo the needs of the cluster in regard to pipeline development, NPDs, NPIs, commercial innovations, assets / content /claims development for the cluster

o Leads & implements the E2E portfolio management, pricing, promotion and communication strategy across the cluster.

Deploying regional/global communication strategy

o Leads the communication planning for the cluster (comms priorities, calendar, media strategy).

o Provides input to regional and global teams for all content development needs and requirements.

o Adapts or transcreates regional/global campaigns, partnering with agency to amplify these campaigns across the cluster.

o Acts as brand equity guardian for the cluster, ensuring consistency across all markets.

o Collaborates with local Brand Activation teams and healthcare professional teams

Deploying new products (portfolio extensions, brand expansion to new markets)

o Based on local market knowledge, provides cluster inputs to regional/global team, from trade to regulatory requirements, for the development of future innovations.

o Leads cross-functional team to bring regional/global innovations into AMET (SC, RA, Finance, gatekeeping).

o Assess potential of new products and develops business case.

o Leverages regional/global launch toolkit and adapts to the cluster reality, in partnership with other functions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

o Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing, with progressive leadership roles and a strong track record of business results.
  • Strong experience in FMCG brand management is required.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and use data to drive decision-making.
o Experience in both brand strategy and market execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
o Experience in developing regional (multi-country) plans.

o Experience working on beauty/skin health categories.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and programs.
o Strong leadership and team management skills.

o Fluent or Native English is required.

o Travel up to 20% may be required.

Desired Qualifications

o Master's or MBA is a plus.

o Experience working in a matrix organization is a plus.

o Experience on both regional and local roles is preferred.

o Skin Care market knowledge of Middle East and/or Africa is a plus.
