Lighting and Electronics Integration Manager

We are looking for a Lighting and Electronics Integration Engineer to join our team in Suzhou, China

The role will be at the center of a trend for transformation of vehicle lighting and application of capabilities to provide customers with product solutions.

The company is expanding the Lighting & Electronics Team to accommodate capability and capacity requirements for supporting projects which are on trend for integration of Plastic Trim, decoration technologies, Lighting, and other electronics.

This represents an opportunity to work with the support of highly skilled and experienced engineers with the specific technical capabilities corresponding to the product function.

What You Will Do
  • Work as a system integration engineer for automotive lighting products (Grilles, Front Panels, emblems and other trim parts with decoration and integrated Lighting & Electronics)
  • Lead the electronics and optical development work while partnering with subject matter experts.
  • Support the technical communication with the customer to analyze requirements.
  • Conduct electronics and optical supplier audits and develop technical support.
  • Support on new product quotation for optical and electronics.
  • Provide technical support to the commercial team.
  • Proactively seek out and learn new technology and market trends.
  • Provide onsite support at customer locations.
  • Technical issue management including development and testing progress.
  • Coordinate with Value estimation team for competitiveness improvements.
  • Develop Preferred partnerships for Development and component supply.
  • Coordinate and provide expert STA (Supplier Technical Assistance)
  • Provide capability for Pre-Development, RFI and RFQ opportunities.
  • Coordinate capabilities in AP (internal and external) for support of projects in other regions.
  • Champion for attraction, retention, and development of the necessary talent.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience of working in a product development environment
  • Experience owning and leading engineering issues through to conclusion
  • Ability to travel up to 25% including internationally.

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Opto-Electronics, Optics, or Project Management
