Job Description:
Role Description
Reporting to Senior Manager, Executive and Employee Experience, Communications & Public Affairs, this Internal Communication Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans that promote a cohesive organizational culture and keep employees engaged.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies that align with organizational goals and help drive business growth.
- Support change communication during organizational changes or crises, ensuring transparency and clarity.
- Work closely with stakeholders across businesses and functions to ensure consistent and effective communication.
- Foster a positive work culture by promoting initiatives that align with the company’s employee value proposition and enhance employee morale and engagement.
- Support the manager through internal communication activities including townhalls, annual meetings, CSR and other employee engagement events, from content development to event management.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, articles and updates to keep employees informed through internal channels.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Experience and Qualifications
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in internal communications or a related field, showcasing a track record of effective communication strategies.
- Proven ability to produce outstanding written, edited, and verbal communications that engage and inform employees at all levels.
- Experience in managing complex projects with strong organizational skills, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Proficient in utilizing various digital communication tools and platforms to enhance internal messaging and engagement.
- A proactive approach demonstrated through successful project management from inception to execution, effectively meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams, influencing key stakeholders, and fostering a cooperative work environment.
- A committed team player with a history of maintaining a resilient and positive mindset, contributing to a supportive workplace culture.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelor' s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with additional computer skills such as video editing and graphic design considered a valuable asset.
